5. Tennessee Titans (via LAR)

player. 35. The secondary was a primary source of frustration for the Tennessee Titans last year. Opponents took advantage of it quite often. Even average quarterbacks tended to have a big day against them. Until they’re able to improve that area, there is no way this team is going to challenge the best teams in the AFC. Particularly the best quarterbacks. To do that requires playmakers on the back end. Something they don’t have.
Malik Hooker may not have the experience of other safeties in this draft, but none of them can do what he can. The kid is a freak athlete. He’s got size, huge hands, speed and the instinct to find the football in the air. Quarterbacks learn fast not to throw in his area because not only will he pick it off but he’ll often take it back the other way for six. He’s a true ball hawk who is only going to get better.
. S. Ohio State. Malik Hooker . 5
