4. Jacksonville Jaguars

Alabama. Jonathan Allen . 4. player. 52. Tom Coughlin is in charge now. They may say he’s not making the actual picks, but he’s definitely setting the new direction the Jacksonville Jaguars are on. Among the things that will be different is they’ll start gaining a greater appreciation for good, old-fashioned football players. No more of these flashy athletic types. They will key on guys who were productive and played their best against top competition in college.
Few fit that description better than Jonathan Allen. For two years he was the driving force behind one of the best defenses in college football. A powerful defensive end who could control the point of attack against the run, then unleash a strong pass rush. As complete and experience a prospect as there is in this draft. He’ll make a fine addition alongside the young defensive front the Jaguars have built the past few years.
. DL
