32. New England Patriots

Draft experts love Forrest Lamp. They feel he’s one of the most developed and sound blockers in the 2017 class. The issue isn’t his skill. It’s his body. He doesn’t quite have the arm length or pure power to survive at tackle in the pros. He does however seem to have excellent guard play in his future. In truth he can play any position and may even have an All-Pro future at the center position.
Such types of players are what the New England Patriots thrive on. Those who can do more than one thing well. Protecting Tom Brady has always been their greatest imperative and their 1st round picks are often saved for building up the trenches. Logical conduct that successful teams employ. Lamp will be another excellent addition to a front that already helped win two of the last three Super Bowls.
. OG. Western Kentucky.
