31. Atlanta Falcons

44. The loss of Desmond Trufant revealed just how vulnerable the Atlanta Falcons pass defense was. They were able to keep Tom Brady at bay for a time, but as the pass rush began to tire he found the weaknesses almost constantly. It was hard to watch how ineffective they were at stopping the New England wide receivers late in the game. If they want to make sure that doesn’t happen again, the Falcons need better corners.
Gareon Conley is their type of guy. Not only athletic and physical in press coverage, but also one of the most technically sound cover men in the class. He just does all the things required of a pro well. Doesn’t make a lot of mistakes. Put him across from a healthy Trufant and this defense could be in business come 2017. Atlanta may not yet be ready to let their Super Bowl dreams die like they did in February.
. CB. Ohio State. Gareon Conley . 31. player
