Losing Derek Carr was the nail in the coffin for the Oakland Raiders in the playoffs, but before that it was their defense. In truth there are still a number of holes in that roster that teams continue to exploit. Notably in the front seven at the middle linebacker and defensive tackle positions. Teams that are weak up the middle tend to be easy prey for top NFL offenses. So improving both those spots will be a must.
