The scouting combine is almost complete and true to former it’s having a drastic impact on the late 2017 NFL mock draft both here and everywhere.

One thing that didn’t change was who the best in the draft is. Myles Garrett turned in a ridiculous performance in the drills. To say nothing of his measurements. It’s no longer a question of whether he’ll go first overall. It is about who will be the team making that pick. What happens after that is where the true fluidity of the process comes into play. This is the first complete 7-round mock draft that will explore the full depth of how teams could execute their plans for this season.

1. Cleveland Browns

1. player. 53. The Cleveland Browns need a quarterback. That’s never been in doubt. They have the #1 overall pick and QBs always go at that spot. It’s the nature of this league. However, the team also has a responsibility to select the best available talent they can. Especially a roster that just got done posting a 1-15 record. They are far from ready to host a rookie quarterback as their starter. Not without some sort of help and not with somebody like Myles Garrett on the board.
Step by step the Texas A&M pass rusher is reinforcing the fact that he’s the best physical talent in the draft. It’s not even close. His tape shows a big man who can move with grace, athleticism and speed. Now the combine has started to reveal he’s much more than that. He boasts 35-inch arm, which is excellent length and then showcased power with 33 bench press reps. He’s a freak of nature who has the tape to back it all up.
. DE. Texas A&M. Myles Garrett
