With a stellar performance at the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine, Myles Garrett has left no questions in regards to who is the best player in the NFL Draft…

As I type this, NFL evaluators are probably still picking their jaws up from the ground. Texas A&M star Myles Garrett — a 6-5, 270 pound defensive end/edge defender — has taken over the Scouting Combine.

To give a frame of reference for just how incredible that is, two of the draft’s superstar athletes in Leonard Fournette (RB) and O.J. Howard (TE) had vertical jumps of 30-inches or shorter. For Garrett — at 270 pounds — to be leaping that high in the air is incredible, and proves the type of explosive ability he has.

But he wasn’t finished there…

You have got to be kidding me.

This kid is incredible. Garrett’s production at Texas A&M over the last three years has been put into question, and I can’t for the life of me fathom why. He had 47 tackles for loss, 31 sacks, and seven forced fumbles in three seasons.

Is that not good enough for you?

If not, Garrett’s ability to command double teams off the edge should do it. Offensive tackles can’t really handle him one-on-one. His athleticism, length, and functional strength are too much to handle. If there was a more clear-cut player for the top pick in this year’s draft, believe me, I would point him out.

This guy is simply mind-boggling.

The Cleveland Browns are going to be very happy with him as the foundation, cornerstone piece of their defense. Talk all you want about how important it is to have a great quarterback, but when the Denver Broncos built from the ground up and started with Von Miller instead of any of the quarterbacks (besides Cam Newton) in the 2011 NFL Draft, it worked out pretty well.

It’s time to stop asking the question, and start printing the Myles Garrett Cleveland Browns jerseys.
