Up:  Aviante Collins (OT, TCU)

His tape showed flashes of a player who could become something more than he was in college, but he needed to test well in order to convince teams he’d be worth the risk. He did just that. Collins was the leader or among the leaders in most of the drills. He posted a whopping 4.81 in the 40-yard dash at 295 lbs. He’ll need to add more weight for the NFL but it’s clear he’s one of the freakiest athletes at the offensive tackle position in this class.

Down:  Zach Banner (OT, USC)

There was never any doubt that Zach Banner was a large human being at 6’8″. What they wanted to see was whether he could move with his considerable 353 lbs frame. Suffice to say their concerns were justified. The USC tackle looked slow and cumbersome throughout most of the day. He ran a glacial 5.58 in the 40 and put up only 22 reps in the bench press. He also showed lack of strength in his legs during the vertical and broad jumps. He clearly needs work.
