Up:  Chris Godwin (WR, Penn State)

This young man was making himself money even before he arrived in Indianapolis. Chris Godwin was outstanding for Penn State down the stretch of last season. He carried that hot streak right into the combine by knocking out every drill. He ran a 4.42 in the 40, far better than what many thought he’d do. He showcased his explosion with solid vertical and broad jumps. Then he looked calm and smooth catching everything in sight during the passing sessions.

Down:  Cooper Kupp (WR, East Carolina)

A lot of the good buzz that Cooper Kupp built up at the Senior Bowl cooled with his combine showing. He came across much slower than expected with a 4.6+ in the 40-yard dash. Then he actually dropped a pass or two in the throwing drills. His tape and production remains strong but teams will now be forced to view him as more of a 3rd or 4th round guy. He can be really good thanks to his route running, but he has athletic limitations.
