32. New England Patriots

Gareon Conley . 32. player. 47. As if the Patriots need any more help on defense given it was one of the best in the league last season. After just adding a dynamic linebacker to their front seven, now they’re afforded the chance to add a quality cornerback as well. It shouldn’t be a surprise. Half their starting secondary is expected to hit free agency. Odds are one or two of their key players will reach the open market and move elsewhere. Not that New England will panic about it.
Gareon Conley may not be getting the same hype as his Ohio State teammate Lattimore but he’s almost on the same level. He too has good size, athleticism and speed to go along with excellent technique. He’s rarely out of position and doesn’t get caught flat-footed by receivers on any sort of route. The Patriots like players who don’t freelance and just do their job. Conley is a perfect fit for that philosophy.
. CB. Ohio State
