9. Cincinnati Bengals

They’ll talk about a linebacker here or a safety there but the truth of the matter is simple. The Cincinnati Bengals feature a defensive system that is built around having a dominant front four. If they don’t have one, it makes everything else more difficult. Geno Atkins and Carlos Dunlap are nice pieces, but outside of them the Bengals really don’t have anybody who can affect games consistently. Particularly on the edge.
This draft may be coming to their rescue. Taco Charlton is a late bloomer from Michigan, but there is no denying his physical makeup is imposing. He’s a long, powerful defensive end with quality athleticism for his size. As the 2016 season went on it seemed like he got better and better. There is no doubt he has the traits to become a force at defensive end given continued development.
. DE. Michigan. Taco Charlton . 9. player. 56
