4. Jacksonville Jaguars

52. Tom Coughlin is running the show now. If anybody knows what football players look like, it’s him. He’ll be able to instill a greater degree of discipline and expectation into that organization. It should start with the very first pick. Jonathan Allen may not be the flashy new toy teams often like to target, but there is no debating the fact that he’s good at what he does. He’s a physical and quick defensive lineman who demands constant attention or offenses risk letting him disrupt the line of scrimmage.
The Jacksonville Jaguars defense made strides in 2016 but their front four remains inconsistent. Dante Fowler still isn’t living up to his lofty draft status. Malik Jackson was good but not overly dominant. Somebody is still needed to help set the tone. Allen was that exact sort of presence for Alabama and it resulted in dominant defense for the two years he was their primary defensive end.
. DE. Alabama. Jonathan Allen . 4. player
