27. Philadelphia Eagles (via Kansas City)

Washington. John Ross . 27. player. 54. It’s no secret by this point that the Philadelphia Eagles are on the hunt for offensive weaponry. Having nabbed a stud running back earlier in the round, they really go for the kill here. Needing a wide receiver for Carson Wentz, they decide on a creative strategy to get one. Mychal Kendricks is no longer a good fit for their defense, but the young linebacker still has plenty of value. So they swing a deal with Kansas City, who badly need inside linebacker help to jump back into the top 32.
There they grab Washington standout John Ross. He may not look like much at 5’11”, but he showed all year long how dangerous he can be. The receiver showcases a tantalizing mix of speed, sudden quickness, good route running and sticky hands. Every time the Huskies needed a big play on offense, he was the one who provided it. Doug Pederson will know exactly how to use him in what is becoming a fast and dangerous attack.
. WR
