Denver Broncos

There is no team in the NFL that has perfected the art of winning Super Bowls with aging veteran stars who have been cursed by playoff misfortune like the Broncos. They did it with John Elway and again with Peyton Manning. Romo fits the same mold. Older, doubted, unable to shake the demons of his past failures in January. What he needs is a team equipped to take some of the load off his shoulders. Denver has this process down to a science.

Whether they’d be willing to hand him the keys is the big question. After all they already have two significant quarterback questions still to answer. Trevor Siemian played pretty well in his first year as a starter. Enough to warrant a further look. Not to mention Paxton Lynch, the teams’ 1st round pick from last year. One would think the Broncos are more interested in figuring out if they already have their quarterback answer, rather than throw it all away on a Romo gamble.
