30. Pittsburgh Steelers
Wisconsin. T.J. Watt . 30. player. 55. The Pittsburgh Steelers face a real crisis in their defensive front seven. Once again they proved unequal to the task when playing the Patriots, and their inability to pressure Tom Brady was a big part of that. James Harrison is turning 39-years old while Lawrence Timmons and Jarvis Jones will be free agents too. This team sorely needs another quality young pass rusher to put opposite Bud Dupree for the future.
Being the brother of J.J. Watt may get T.J. Watt plenty of attention, but the reason he’s projected as a high pick is because of his own talent. Like his brother, Watt is a long defender with a relentless disposition. He goes hard after the football and blockers have a hard timing keeping him at bay. T.J. is stronger than he looks and is quite versatile in his ability to move around the field. Exactly what the Steelers want.
. OLB
