3. Chicago Bears

57. Fans always root for the sexy picks in the draft. Understandable since the best ones tend to lead the way to championships. However, history shows the greatest teams are built in the trenches. Those that are strong on the offensive and defensive lines. The Chicago Bears are headed in that direction on defense with Eddie Goldman and Akiem Hicks in place. One more addition could potentially make that front the most dangerous in the NFL.
Jonathan Allen sometimes gets lost on what is a talent-laden defense at Alabama. Yet he’s been the spoon that stirs the drink in each of their national championship runs the past two years. Not only does he provide the strong anchor against the run, his surprising mix of quickness and lateral agility have allowed him to become an effective pass rusher as well. He can play inside or outside and commands consistent attention from double teams. The Bears are instantly a better defense with him on board.
. DE. Alabama. Jonathan Allen . 3. player
