26. Seattle Seahawks

36. It’s pretty much been the Richard Sherman show for the Seattle Seahawks at the cornerback position the past two seasons. Jeremy Lane and others have done well enough but aren’t the top quality needed to help make that defense elite again. The loss of Earl Thomas made it look even worse. Their pass rush can’t hope to achieve its full potential until that secondary regains the swagger that made it so formidable between 2013 and 2014.
Luckily the 2017 draft is ready to oblige their problem. Cornerback is among the richest positions. Gareon Conley gets overlooked because he played on such a loaded defense but he’s done a fine job of putting together tape that accents his talent. He’s got the size required along with athleticism and enough speed to play man coverage. Better still he’d fit the Seahawks style thanks to his willingness to hit and tackle.
. CB. Ohio State.
