16. Baltimore Ravens

CB. Florida. Quincy Wilson . 16. player. 26. Cornerback doesn’t come across as the biggest need the Baltimore Ravens have at the moment, but this is a team that doesn’t always draft that way early. They balance the talent of a player against need fairly well. “Sticking to the board” as Ozzie Newsome likes to say. Given the nature of their 3-4 scheme, there is no such thing as too many good corners and they aren’t overflowing at that position anyway.
Seeing Quincy Wilson fall to the #16 spot is pretty amazing. The Florida corner has gained a lot of steam in draft circles thanks to his impressive array of skills. He’s got size and length but also the athleticism to mirror well in space. His deep speed shouldn’t be a big issue as he can play tight press coverage without getting beat too often. The ball skills are there as well. No reason to think he can’t start immediately if asked.
