14. Indianapolis Colts

46. Protecting Andrew Luck was the greatest failure of former Colts GM Ryan Grigson. His second biggest was not being able to strengthen the defense. Particularly the pass rush where they were forced to rely on an aging Robert Mathis and free agent acquisition Erik Walden. Now Mathis is retired and Walden is into his 30s. A top priority for new GM Chris Ballard is to find a young pass rusher he can build this new unit around.
Tim Williams had some questionable rumors surrounding him the past couple weeks. Some believe the Alabama outside linebacker had some off-the-field problems mostly in regards to drug use. It’s felt he’s in store for a drop on draft day. Then again it could be untrue or at least blown out of proportion. Bottom line is Williams is an athletic edge rusher who has one of the most explosive first steps in this class. He’s a great fit for that 3-4 outside linebacker position for Indianapolis.
. OLB. Alabama. Tim Williams . 14. player
