DE. Michigan. Chris Wormley. 61. player. 124.
Kansas City’s 37th overall pick Chris Jones will get even more opportunities in 2017 after playing nearly 600 snaps on the defensive line. On the opposite side of the line, Kansas City makes an upgrade in their pass rush depth with Chris Wormley going behind Jaye Howard. When Howard went down with a hip injury Rakeem Nunez-Roches came in and provided little disruption as a pass rusher. With 12 sacks over his past two seasons with the Wolverines, Wormley could possibly replace Howard when his contract expires after next season.
LB. LSU. Kendell Beckwith. 62. player. 28.
Oakland allowed nearly 1,900 rushing yards this year, and needs to make an upgrade at inside linebacker. Beckwith had 91 tackles despite missing multiple games, and tackles with the best of them. Take on skills are also top notch, giving the Raiders a solid middle linebacker. Here’s a replacement to Perry Riley.
