. CB. Michigan. Jourdan Lewis. 53. player. 50

On one side, cornerback Darius Slay provides quality play to be the team’s #1 corner. However, he is only one cornerback. Opposite Slay needs to be another piece to form a solid tandem for the Lions defense.

So the Lions snatch up a “hometown” hero. Lewis is probably the least-talked about player on the Michigan defense but he is definitely one of the better players on the unit. Lewis is physical who thrives in press coverage. Lewis has solid footwork and is rarely beaten. The senior cornerback is about as well-rounded as they come at the position and will team with Slay to give Detroit a scary corner combination.

49. . RB. Oklahoma. Samaje Perine. 54. player

Was there a more obvious fit to be had? Perine’s college career is highly documented and his skill-set will be one of the most thoroughly analyzed this winter amongst his counterparts in this class. The CliffsNotes version, though: he’s very good. There might not be a team in the NFL with a shakier running back future than Green Bay, even though Ty Montgomery has been pretty darn impressive. Perine gives the Packers yet another weapon in the arsenal, this time on offense after taking Desmond King in the first round.
