NFL Mock Draft 2.0: Week 16 Brings Massive Trading
The Ravens take advantage of the fall of Carl Lawson, and snatch up the pass rusher in the second round. Lawson has nine sacks in his junior season to go along with 12.5 tackles for loss and a whopping 24 quarterback hurries. Baltimore has Terrell Suggs and Elvis Dumervil in the building, so Lawson would have some of the best ever to learn from while he contributes in a limited role.
Part of what has made Kirk Cousins a success in Washington is being able to run the football. The Redskins couldn’t do that as well in 2016. Their running back situation isn’t ideal with Matt Jones and Rob Kelley. Getting another body in that rotation would be a major help. D’Onta Foreman led all of college football in rushing in 2016. He’s a tough, powerful runner who wore defenses out for Texas. Just a load to bring down. Put him behind that big front in Washington and let him grind.
