Chicago Bears 2017 Mock Draft: Attacking The Secondary

Tennessee. Cameron Sutton . 4. player. 57. It’s amazing how Vic Fangio has been able to get by with the assortment of total unknowns at cornerback he has. Two of them are undrafted free agents. Another was a discarded veteran who couldn’t stick with three teams. Then there’s the 4th round pick who can’t stay healthy. Not a single name who is even in remote sniffing distance of a Pro Bowl. So one can imagine how much better this defense might be if they get serious about investing at the position. <p>Cameron Sutton was considered a 1st round favorite out of Tennessee when the season began. Unfortunately an injury derailed his seasons. The good news is his rehab has gone well and he should be 100% before the predraft process begins. He is a tough, physical corner who is stout in man coverage. He likes to intimidate but does so without drawing too much attention from the refs. Tackling is also an art he takes seriously. Sounds like a Bears kind of guy.</p>. CB
