RB. Texas. D'Onta Foreman . 2. player. 87. One of the reasons the Panthers offense was so hard to stop in 2015 was because they could run the football. Jonathan Stewart was a Pro Bowler. That part of their offense has regressed this season. Stewart has just 511 yards and continues dealing with injury problems. To top it off he’ll be 30-years old next season. The time is right for the Panthers to consider finding his replacement. Somebody who can handle heavy workloads.

That is precisely what D’Onta Foreman was about at Texas. He was the NCAA leading rusher in 2016, finishing with over 2,000 yards. A rare feat in college football. He’s a big, strong back who is a real nightmare to tackle. He knows how to shrugs off the first and second tacklers with consistent ease, forcing defenses to load the box trying to stop him. That will be what the Panthers want, as it opens up chances for Greg Olsen and Kelvin Benjamin down the field.
