9. player. 15. The problem for the New Orleans Saints has been the same as it was since Sean Payton took over as head coach way back in 2006. This team can’t field a consistently solid defense. Some seasons the unit has played well, but not nearly often enough. If it’s not one problem it’s another: the pass rush, the tackling, or the coaching. This time around pass coverage is a big issue. Their cornerbacks and safeties don’t really scare anybody on Sundays.

Until they find answers, this team can’t even start to think about another Super Bowl run. Thankfully the 2017 class might be ready to oblige them. Quincy Wilson is fast gaining steam in scouting circles as a top corner in the draft. Maybe even better than high-profile Florida teammate Tabor. He’s tall, athletic, fluid, long and showcases good ball skills in coverage. Receivers have a hard time shaking him regardless of their size or style.
. CB. Florida. Quincy Wilson
