NFL Draft: Stanford RB Christian McCaffrey will enter 2017 draft
Stanford Cardinal running back, former Heisman finalist and All-American Christian McCaffrey will reportedly make himself eligible for the 2017 NFL Draft…
I really enjoy watching Christian McCaffrey play football.
Whether it’s as a running back, receiver, returner — you name it — McCaffrey is good at it. Of course, I could be person number 1,374 to tell you that he has great football bloodlines, starting with his father, Ed McCaffrey, a Super Bowl champion receiver and beloved member of the Denver Broncos.
His mother, Lisa, was also an incredible multi-sport athlete. His brothers are both excellent football players, too.
But Christian is my favorite of the bunch. When you dream up what it would be like to be a football player, it doesn’t look much different than McCaffrey, who is capable of touching the ball on every single play and making an impact.

McCaffrey followed up a sensational sophomore season in which he scored 17 total touchdowns by racking up 16 in 2016. He has never averaged less than six yards per carry, and is just 85 yards away from having 4,000 in his Stanford career.
Over the last three seasons, McCaffrey has amassed an astounding 5,128 yards from scrimmage, and an addition of 1,479 return yards.
This is a player that can help your NFL team on four downs. He’s not only a dynamic running back, but he’s shifty as a slot receiver and has great hands. His vision with the football in his hands is unmatched in college football and he sees the field unlike many other players.
McCaffrey’s football knowledge, natural feel for the game, and playmaking ability all lead me to believe he’s going to be an absolute stud at the next level, and he’s reportedly declared his intent to leave college early for the 2017 NFL Draft.
Welcome to Sunday football, young Mr. McCaffrey. We’ll be seeing a lot of you.
