3rd Round

3. player. 57. This is going to shock a lot of people. Many remain convinced that Deshaun Watson will be a 1st round pick or at least a 2nd rounder. Truth be told he can go anywhere in the first four rounds. That is how unpredictable his stock is. He’s a great athlete, competitive, good in the clutch and a leader by all accounts. On the other hand he’s undersized, struggles with accuracy and can make some rough decisions when throwing the football.
It’s just too difficult to tell how his talents will translate to the NFL. Will he be the next Russell Wilson or Dak Prescott, or will he be another Robert Griffin III? The Chicago Bears are eager to find out. A 3rd round pick is more than an acceptable risk to take on somebody like Watson. He has the capacity to be a future franchise quarterback. It’s a matter of whether he can handle throwing into the tighter windows and faster pace of the pro level. That often comes from hard work and what’s between the ears.
. QB. Clemson. Deshaun Watson
