87. The Carolina Panthers defense could use some help in key areas such as the pass rush. They also need help with their offensive line, particularly on the edges. The problem is their options aren’t very strong at this point thanks to the early run in the top five and the lack of talent. In such situations where immediate needs can’t be met, the smart thing to do is take the best available player on the board. Hopefully someone who can give the team a boost. <p>Carolina loves to run the football and Jonathan Stewart is getting up there in age. Finding the next generation of “Keep Pounding” style can’t hurt, especially given the importance of protecting Cam Newton. Leonard Fournette is undoubtedly one of the most talented runners to come out of college in a long time. He’s big, physical, strong and way too fast somebody that size should be.
