Alabama. Marlon Humphrey . 7. player. 35. A team has to know their pass coverage is pretty bad when Matt Barkley carves them up for over 300 yards and three touchdowns. The Tennessee Titans are an embarassment on the back end. Their safeties are average and their corners are abysmal. Not a good thing when they’re trying to run a 3-4 scheme which demands a lot of man coverage in order to free up extra blitzers. Dick LeBeau needs somebody he can count on to cover his man consistently.

Alabama is much the same way and they’ve gotten that from Marlon Humphrey. Though he’s only a sophomore he’s already been playing like a seasoned veteran. He’s got the size to match up with any receiver and shows that ability be sticky in coverage, not giving much room to make catches. Some have voiced concerns about him being stiff at times but the tape speaks for itself. Kept in the right situations he is not a wise choice to attack.
. CB
