30. Dallas Cowboys

Washington. Sidney Jones . 30. player. 123. The University of Washington has suddenly become an unexpected breeding ground for NFL prospects. They’ve pounded on most of their opponents so far in 2016 and look like potential national championship contenders. One does not do that without a loaded roster. Among the notable players garnering lots of attention is cornerback Sidney Jones. Much like former alum Marcus Peters he has the attributes made for the NFL: size, speed, athleticism and a nose for the football. Also more physical than people might think.
Cornerback is certainly a position the Dallas Cowboys will be looking at come next year. Morris Claiborne and Orlando Scandrick are dealing with more injury issues. Brandon Carr has age concerns in addition to a still-expensive contract. They need an infusion of fresh blood. Somebody they know will be there long-term to keep fulfilling the plan for Super Bowl contention. Jones is the type of player who fits the style of coordinator Rod Marinelli. Put him on any receiver and let him make plays on the ball.
. CB
