New York Jets at Arizona Cardinals, 8:30 p.m. ET on Monday, ESPN
There’s a sense around “NFL Twitter” that the Cardinals still might be a touch overrated, but I find it hard to believe that’s the case. Bruce Arians is still a tremendous coach with a highly talented roster. Not much has changed from last year, and despite a slow start, AZ is about to get Carson Palmer back to right the ship after an extended week to prepare for the Jets.
Sure, it might be the optimistic route to take, but the Cardinals should still have plenty of belief around the league. Of course, if they find a way to fall to the Jets here, it’s a different story. But for now, they appear plenty talented and poised to capture a home win against a 1-4 NYJ team.

With that said, you can probably guess that the Jets aren’t the pick here. That’s no knock on Todd Bowles’ team; I actually think they’re still an incredibly talented bunch. Ultimately, this task just seems to tough to concur under the circumstances of the season. They’ve dug a pretty deep hole early. And with games against the Cardinals and Ravens upcoming, a 1-6 record appears very possible in a disastrous turn of events for Gang Green.
Cardinals take off early and don’t look back, take 28-17 win over Jets.
