7. Jacksonville Jaguars

RB. LSU. Leonard Fournette . 7. player. 52. It won’t matter if Gus Bradley is still the head coach or not by this point. The bottom line is the Jacksonville Jaguars continue to have a problem running the football. Their perceived 1-2 punch of T.J. Yeldon and Chris Ivory hasn’t gotten on track for a variety of reasons. Sure the blocking hasn’t been great but neither has really shown a capacity to carry the load like a traditional workhorse back. If Bradley wants his Seahawks of the South, then he needs his Marshawn Lynch.
The back who comes the closest to that type of style in this draft class is Leonard Fournette. He’s a beast of runner with a big body but quick feet and breakaway speed. He’s the type who stresses defenses because he’s athletic enough to handle 25-30 carries a game without breaking much of a sweat. His added mix of raw power makes him a potential nightmare for defenses. Why wouldn’t the Jaguars be eager to put him on the field with Blake Bortles and Allen Robinson?
