10. Chicago Bears (via CAR)

Mitch Trubisky . 10. player. 57. It will be so easy for critics to condemn Mitch Trubisky for his ugly performance against Virginia Tech. However, one lesson must not be forgotten about draft prospects. One game does not a player make. That showing cannot and should not overshadow how well the North Carolina quarterback was playing before it. He checks several boxes with his 6’3″ size, strong arm, quick release, sneaky mobility and sound decision-making. He’s also proven good in clutch situations as well.
The Chicago Bears are at a point where they are definitely in the market for a quarterback. Jay Cutler will be 34-years old in 2017 and continues to suffer injury problems. Backup Brian Hoyer will be a free agent as well. GM Ryan Pace has not yet thrown his hat into the ring, not selecting a quarterback through his first two drafts. Trubisky could be the one he’s been waiting for given the skill set and the competitiveness.
. QB. North Carolina
