Marc Trestman wasn’t made for Ravens football

Once against the Baltimore Ravens offense looked unable to execute against a defense that really hasn’t been all that overpowering. Just 10 points against the Washington Redskins? For context they hadn’t allowed fewer than 20 before this game. That failure must be laid at the feet of offensive coordinator Marc Trestman. One of the problems that has followed him since his days in Chicago was an unwillingness to stick with the running game.

For them to run the ball just 19 times and ask Joe Flacco to throw it 46 times in inexcusable. Especially when the game was never that far apart in score and that Terrance West had 95 yards on just 11 carries. How does he not get more touches than that? He was eating the Redskins alive. This goes to show that even the Ravens can make bad judgment calls when it comes to their coaching hires. Trestman wasn’t made to play their brand of football.
