The Big Move?

Thus far Ryan Pace has avoided two positions in particular, at least regarding the draft. His only notable tackle move was Tayo Fabuluje in the 6th round of 2015. An oversight people continue to question. Then of course there is the elephant in the room. When will Pace finally make his big move at the quarterback position? He has not spent a single draft pick on it to date. Initial belief is he just hasn’t found the right guy yet.

Everybody knows it’s bound to happen. Pace is like any other GM. They want to get “their” guy and build the team around them. Jay Cutler was never his guy. He did sign Brian Hoyer, but that was as a backup. Chicago Bears fans are still waiting for Pace to turn in that card with the name that will change the course of the franchise at the most important position. Will 2017 be the time? One thing is clear. He won’t be able to avoid it forever.
