We’re heading into the final turn of the NFL’s first quarter, and we’re finally beginning to see this year’s fantasy studs and duds take shape…

As we gear towards yet another week of daily fantasy play, we’re going to take a look at some of the best options for your optimal lineups from a salary and production standpoint.

Trevor Siemian | QB | Denver Broncos – $7,400 (FanDuel) $5,400 (DraftKings)

Siemian had a coming out party for himself on the road against Cincinnati in week 3, throwing for 312 yards and four touchdowns. This week, he’ll face a Buccaneers defense that currently allows a league-worst 33.7 points per game, and ranks 20th in passing yards per game. He’s a cheap buy on both FanDuel and DraftKings, and has a litany of weapons at his disposal.

Andy Dalton | QB | Cincinnati Bengals – $7,600 (FanDuel) $6,100 (DraftKings)

Dalton is coming off an embarrassing home loss against the aforementioned Siemian and the Denver Broncos. What falls in Dalton’s favor this week is a short-week home game against a really bad Miami Dolphins team. Road teams are historically bad on the road, and Dalton has thrown 12 touchdowns to just four interceptions at home dating back to week 3 of last season. His salaries on both DK and FD are easy to build a stud lineup around him.

Jeremy Hill | RB | Cincinnati Bengals – $7,000 (FanDuel) $4,100 (DraftKings)

Hill, like Dalton is playing on a short week, but is coming off an impressive performance against a stud Broncos defense. Hill rushed 11 times for 97 yards and two scores, making his DFS owners extremely happy. Miami has allowed the second-most rushing yards this season at 442, which leaves Hill as a primary fill for optimal lineups. Hill is grossly undervalued in most DK formats, and should be an automatic start for most games.

Terrelle Pryor, Sr. | WR | Cleveland Browns – $7,000 (FanDuel) $4,300 (DraftKings)

Pryor is coming off his best game as a pro, totaling eight receptions for 144 yards and a touchdown, all while doing his best Boobie Miles impression on Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium. One hit wonder? Maybe, but Pryor and the Browns head to D.C. to take on the 25th-ranked Washington pass defense that just saw top corner Josh Norma get torched by Odell Beckham for 100+ and a score. Pryor has seen the biggest increase among FanDuel receivers at +$1,200, but is still a good option in a pinch.

Jimmy Graham | TE | Seattle Seahawks – $6,400 (FanDuel) $4,000 (DraftKings)

Is Jimmy Graham back? The former Saints star tight end earned his first 100-yard performance since being traded to Seattle. The Jets rank 20th in total pass defense, as well as total points allowed. Graham isn’t necessarily a cheap option at tight end, but with the struggles the Jets have had, he could fit perfectly in a lineup as a second-tier option.

Zach Miller | TE | Chicago Bears – $5,000 (FanDuel) $2,700 (DraftKings)

More from NFL Mocks

Miller is an interesting player to consider in different formats this weekend. When it comes to GPP’s, it’s likely you’ll avoid him, but in smaller games, he could be just the player you need to sneak into your lineup around high-priced talent. One thing both rookie and back-up quarterbacks love is a reliable safety net, and that’s exactly who Zach Miller is.

Minnesota Vikings | Defense & Special Teams $4,700 (FanDuel) $3,600 (DraftKings)

The Vikings are somehow 3-0, and have beaten both Aaron Rodgers and Cam Newton in consecutive weeks. They’re ranked sixth in the league in total defense, and allow a mere 13.3 points-per-game. Minnesota has given up a very respectable 211 passing YPG, and will be going up against a team in the New York Giants that are down two running backs and are going to have to either rely on unproven backs or throw the football. This matchup just bleeds a Vikings takeover.

Bonus:

Cincinnati Bengals | Defense & Special Teams $4,700 (FanDuel) $3,200 (DraftKings)

As mentioned before, the road teams on Thursday night matchups play historically bad, giving the Bengals and their defense a known advantage right off the bat. While the Bengals aren’t loaded with talent defensively, they’re at home on a short week with a ton of offensive talent to keep them in good positions against a struggling Miami offense. They’re a cheap option and a great fit in most lineups.
