In what some feel is the dominant conference in college football, the Southeastern Conference has a number of conference games on the week three slate. The biggest game on that menu so happens to pit head coach Nick Saban and his talented Alabama Crimson Tide on the road against the Ole Miss Rebels, who are on a two game winning streak against the Tide.

That two game winning streak by Ole Miss was in part thanks to the likes of Laremy Tunsil, Robert Nkemdiche, LaQuan Treadwell, and others. Things have changed dramatically of course as those names mentioned are now playing football on Sundays instead. What Ole Miss does have in their defense is one of the better quarterbacks in the country in Chad Kelly.

For the Tide, the identity of physical, lose your mouthpiece football over the past several seasons is still the calling card in Tuscaloosa. Even with a number of new starters in 2016. Will the Rebels defend their home turf and collect another victory over Saban or will the Crimson Tide continue their dominance so far this season? Let’s preview the key SEC matchup.
