Strong draft class

Week after week it’s becoming apparent that the 2017 draft class could be one of the stronger groups at quarterback in recent memory. Big names like DeShone Kizer and Deshaun Watson give it some star power, but many are growing more impressed every day with the depth. Guys like Chad Kelly, C.J. Beathard, and Brad Kaaya are also considered strong prospects who could turn into quality NFL starters. This doesn’t even include the usual handful of possible sleepers.

If ever Ryan Pace were biding his time to make a move at the quarterback position, then 2017 is it. Unlike previous years he may not have to cough up a kings’ ransom of draft picks to get into position for a potential franchise guy. Just some good research and a little luck might do the trick. Don’t forget that in certain years where the QB classes have been deeper than usual, Pro Bowl-caliber players were found in the 2nd and even 3rd rounds.
