2. New Orleans Saints (via CHI)

Deshaun Watson . 2. player. 15. Extending Drew Brees was a way for the New Orleans Saints to create some breathing room in their salary cap. Make no mistake. This is still a team that is looking towards the future at quarterback. Brees is 37-years old and several reports continue to insist his arm strength is fading. Don’t think for a second that Mickey Loomis won’t take the aggressive approach if he feels he can land an heir to the throne. So he calls upon an old friend in Ryan Pace from Chicago to help out.
The Saints decide to move up in order to get their guy. Like always it costs a lot, but with Sean Payton in place and a host of young, quality offensive pieces it’s as good a time as any. Besides Deshaun Watson is the kind of singular talent that can make it all worth it. He’s got tons of athletic skill and speed for a runner, but that doesn’t mean he’s a scrambler. Watson plays the position like a pro, standing in the pocket and delivering balls with accuracy, timing and poise.
. QB. Clemson
