NFL Players Most Likely To Reach 1st Pro Bowl In 2016

Torrey Smith (San Francisco 49ers)
A big part of the reason that Chip Kelly was hired had to do with the fact that he had the kind of offensive philosophy that understood how to take advantage of speed. From his days at Oregon through Philadelphia, Kelly made it clear he was huge advocate of having it at every position. Especially wide receiver. Running a no-huddle offense and wearing a defense down creates greater opportunities to hit big plays down the field. Desean Jackson made that clear in their lone season together.
The 49ers are hoping the same will be said for Torrey Smith. They signed the former Baltimore deep threat last season in hopes they could take full advantage of Colin Kaepernick and his rifle arm. It didn’t work out as planned, but Smith still averaged over 20 yards per catch. Can Kelly create a more effective scheme to get him the football more than 33 times? No doubt he’s going to try, and that could mean big numbers if Smith stays healthy.
