Vic Beasley (Atlanta Falcons)

Some of the more skeptical fans or critics will say Vic Beasley isn’t anywhere close to punching his ticket to the Pro Bowl anytime soon. After all he only had four sacks as a rookie. How does that translate into the performance required to accomplish that task? Before going into any further detail it’s important to point out a minor flaw in that argument. Keep in mind Khalil Mack had just four sacks his rookie season, before stacking 15 last year. Almost universally it takes young pass rushers a year to adjust to NFL speed before they start dominating.

Beasley played quite well in 2015. He just had yet learned out to get the most from his considerable physical gifts. After another off-season under the tutelage of head coach Dan Quinn and with more help around him on defense, there is no doubt it’s shaping up to be a big year for him. Matt Ryan and the offense should provide plenty of leads to play with and that fast, indoor track of the Georgia Dome is perfectly suited for a pass rusher to thrive.
