Donte Moncrief (Indianapolis Colts)

It’s crazy to think about now. At the beginning of last year there were some strong rumors that the Indianapolis Colts were actually considering the thought of cutting or trading Donte Moncrief. An unusual turn of event after he had a relatively decent rookie year. Not to mention the fact he was turning just 22-years old. It wasn’t until after Andrew Luck went down with injury for the season that people began to see how good Moncrief actually was.

Though his touchdowns dried up when Luck exited, he continued to be productive as a versatile option the Colts could move around. He ended up with 733 yards on the season with six touchdowns. A good chunk of that was with 40-year old Matt Hasselbeck and former 1st round bust Josh Freeman throwing him the ball. With Luck back healthy, a stabilized offensive system and reinforced offensive line, there is no telling how much he’ll improve in Year 3.
