Four of the 21 future Terps attended the DC-area school. The four players make up four of the top five recruits (according to 24/7 Sports).
The name to know in this class is wide receiver Tino Ellis. Maryland hasn’t had a dominant receiver since Stefon Diggs left in 2014, but Ellis is next in line. At 6-1, he has good height with blazing speed. It’s safe to say that he will be a favorite target for the next four years.
Terrence Davis, also from DeMatha, is another guy to look out for. He comes into College Park with the size (6-4, 305 pounds) and skill to see early playing time.
It’s interesting to note that the Terps took four running backs in the class. Expect a lot of run plays moving forward.
