Week 3 @ Dallas Cowboys

Part of being a playoff team is being able to beat other teams who will likely be challenging you for those six coveted spots. One such team the Bears are almost certain to battle for at least a wild card spot are the Dallas Cowboys. Don’t be fooled by their 4-12 finish a year ago. Most of that had to do with the loss of Tony Romo to injury and having no backup to replace him. Both problems have since been corrected. Romo is back healthy and the team seems to have something going with rookie Dak Prescott in the backup role.

The Cowboys are still a very talented team in a number of areas. Their offensive line is one of the best in the business. Dez Bryant, love him or hate him is still a beast and Jason Witten remains the consistent presence he’s always been. One must not forget running back Ezekiel Elliott either. That offense is loaded. At the same time, Chicago might catch another break this week due to several key Dallas defenders expected to be out due to suspensions including their top two pass rushers.
