29. Minnesota Vikings

29. player. 60. The retirement of Phil Loadholt has left the Minnesota Vikings in a compromising position at right tackle. T.J. Clemmings was a flop last year as a rookie and thus far veteran free agent signing Andre Smith has looked somewhat shaky. In order for their offense to go they need steady blocking and it appears that position is going to be the one they have to look at in 2017 for upgrades. If that’s the case, expect GM Rick Speilman to stick close to his favorite program for answers.
Notre Dame has returned to its customary spot as one of the top colleges in the nation to produce quality NFL talent. Few positions have seen that more than the offensive line. Zack Martin is a Pro Bowl guard in Dallas. Ronnie Stanley was the 1st round pick of Baltimore this year. Mike McGlinchey looks like he may be headed down the same path. The massive 6’7″ blocker showcased plenty of polish as a pass protector at right tackle for the Irish but is known even more for his depend run blocking.
. OT. Notre Dame. Mike McGlinchey
