2. San Francisco 49ers

Deshaun Watson . 2. player. 42. Can anybody say with honesty that the San Francisco 49ers will be a contender in the near future with either Colin Kaepernick or Blaine Gabbert as the starting quarterback? Kaepernick was a shooting start for a short period of time but seems to have lost his edge and is now suffering problems with his arm. Gabbert has improved from the hot mess he was in Jacksonville but he’s still below average among others in the league. Chip Kelly needs to stop beating around the bush and finally get a quarterback of his own choosing.
It would be difficult for him, an offensive wizard to not get excited about the idea of building his system around Deshaun Watson. Everybody may view him as just another dual-threat quarterback who prefers to run. That is not the case at all. Watson has taken painstaking steps to becoming a true blue passer who can stand in the pocket and deliver the ball with accurate touch. He showed a lot of that last season. His mobility is merely an added dimension he can utilize whenever the situation calls for it. Watson can put a team on his back. That is what the 49ers haven’t had even before Kaepernick at his peak.
. QB. Clemson
