25. Green Bay Packers

player. 49. The significant threat of suspensions regarding PED violations to Clay Matthews and Julius Peppers merely reinforced how thin the Green Bay Packers are at outside linebacker. Outside of them they really have no proven options at the position. Considering Peppers is 36-years old and Matthews is 30, this is not something that can be allowed to stand for much longer. Otherwise what little teeth the defense has will be ground down to nothing before they can fix it. Ted Thompson may not like taking linebackers early, but he needs make an exception in 2017.
There is a strong chance they will have hit on a hidden gem if Charles Harris falls to them. The Missouri product is a bit light at just 237 lbs but he is a gifted speed rusher who looks every bit like the classic 3-4 outside linebacker. He’s got a good burst off the snap, can keep his pad level low and has the flexibility to bend around the edge. His hands are also advanced in their technique, allowing him to use a variety of different moves to beat blockers. In order to become a full-time player though he’ll have to put on some weight and show he can help stop the run.
. OLB. Missouri. Charles Harris . 25
