15. Indianapolis Colts

Christian McCaffrey . 15. player. 46. Frank Gore deserves plenty of credit for the long, great career he’s had. Still, the NFL can be unforgiving to older players. The Indianapolis Colts have to believe he isn’t going to be their answer at running back, something they’ve searched for year after year with limited success. Trent Richardson was a flop. Everything else looked and felt like the team was hoping for a hidden gem because they didn’t want to risk repeating that mistake. Fair enough, but at some point they have to try again. Andrew Luck needs help.
If the SEC route didn’t work, then maybe a Pac-12 one might. Christian McCaffrey is nothing like what Richardson was. He is a dynamic talent who knows how to create plays for himself. It’s a big reason why he is such a success not only as a running back but a return man too. He’s got size and toughness to handle a heavy load, has the power to break tackles but is known best for his mix of elusiveness and vision. Given him a lane, he’s going to hit it at full speed.
.
