Jimmy Smith remains their primary starter but the Baltimore Ravens are starting to rely a little too heavily on street free agents to maintain stability at cornerback. Shareece Wright, Kyle Arrington and Jerraud Powers are not the most formidable group. Sure they have plenty to offer on special teams but in that AFC North division a team has to be able to play pass defense. With an aging pass rush to worry about, Ozzie Newsome has to think about finding another starter they can rely on.

It would be quite a boon if they were able to land Jalen Tabor. The Florida product is another in a growing line of quality corners to come out of that school in recent years. Joe Haden highlights the group while Vernon Hargreaves is the latest to go in the 1st round. Many believe Tabor can be as good or better than either of them. He’s got the size, length and fluid agility to play man-to-man. Receivers aren’t going to beat him deep without having to work for it and he does a good job of locating the football in the air.
.
