The question moving forward is whether they’ve done enough in the front seven, particularly with the pass rush. Vic Beasley should take a big step for them, but outside of him they have no definitive second pass rusher who can keep offensive lines honest. After watching Denver and Seattle the past couple years, they have to know this is key.
<p>That is why they go after Alabama standout Jonathan Allen. He proved just how disruptive he can be in 2015. Though he came away with 10 sacks, he could’ve had more. Thanks to his size and explosiveness, Allen offers great versatility. He can bring heat off the edge but is big and strong enough to shift inside to defensive tackle where he can provide an interior pass rush too.
